Our Mission.
Sweet Clover is dedicated to nurturing the developing child in accordance with the educational principles of Rudolf Steiner.
We support the unfolding individuality of each child by summoning the child’s will and imagination to meet the world, others, and himself/herself, with warmth of heart, clarity of thought, and strength of purpose.
Our vision of community is to honor each individual for who they are, so that they may each find a way to contribute to our community as a whole.
Through rhythm and rhyme, song, and verse, our imaginations are set free. Through practical purposeful work, our will forces are engaged.
The essence of Sweet Clover is simplicity. Our clock is the rhythm of the day, our day is the rhythm of the season, and our season is the rhythm of the year. The children of Sweet Clover experience freedom, reverence, and respect of the natural order.
